An introduction to greenwood carving £55/£75 (8 spaces)

A perfect starting place for those who are new to carving, Over the three hours participants will learn to carve a tent peg, a butter knife and a simple spoon from freshly cut wood using just a straight and a hook knife. This course also introduces how to harvest wood in a sustainable manner as well as highlighting the best wood to use for simple projects.

Spoon carving - £60/£80 (6 spaces)

As well as the practical nature of safe carving the workshop will also focus on the functional design of spoons as well as the aesthetics to create something that will bring joy each time it is used at home.
